Winter Flowers thank you card_#26_2016_The Creative Flow Blog Hop(Stampin up)

Thank you for joining us on our Creative Flow Blog Hop. Each month we are set a challenge to creatively stretch our imaginations. The products we have used are all available in the current Annual and/or seasonal Stampin’ Up!® catalogues. To hop along, please use the buttons at the bottom of the post to keep hopping.

This month's challenge is
"Create something winter themed but not christmas"
but only use within only using annual and s/s catty and plus carried over sets from a/w!
Unfortunately, many of sets I have are retiring on 3rd January. so It was real challenge for me.

To be honest I really struggled with this one as everything I could think of, I also thought was synonymous with Christmas. If you think of snow, you think of Christmas etc. In the end though I really thought snow was the best option for a winter theme, so I decided to go for it with an elegant flower in the form of a Thank You card for somebody who recently did my husband and I a big favour.

I made a couple of different options, changing the colour of the flower to experiment, you can see the results below.

I filmed a process video for this project, will upload soon.
so please come back in few day to check it out how I did make them. :-)

Have fun :-)

A Thank you card for A man_#25_2016(Stampin up)

Thanks for coming to my blog today! We are being highlighted internationally by Kylie Bertucci and you are able to VOTE for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so please vote for my project. You can do that here - http://www.craftykylie.com/2016/12/kylies-international-blog-highlights.html
Our theme for this highlight is encouragement as we all need a kind word said to us to build us up.

Hi Friends! Hope you have a wonderful christmas!

I made a Thank you card for a man requested by James(My husband) that don't make it pretty, don't put any flowers. I've never made a Thank you card for a man, so I was so struggle to make one, cause I only have flowers and baby theme stamp sets and die sets.
I thought leaves aren't flowers lol so I used leaves....!

I only wanted to use leaves for this design, so the sentiment needed to be bigger than normal to make it look balanced. Thankfully I had the perfect stamp set which is from the 2017 Spring/Summer catalogue which Stampin' Up demos get early access to. It's available for general release in January.

I stamped the leaves on kraft cardstock and die cut them out. I used the line stamps from the same stamp set to give leaves a bit more of an interesting look as they looked a little plain on their own.

I really like how the card came out. The kraft + whisper white combination is going to be my "For a man" default colour pallet from now on, :-)

Quick process video is also available to watch on here or my youtube channel.

Thanks for visiting my blog today make sure you head over to Kylie's blog - http://www.craftykylie.com/2016/12/kylies-international-blog-highlights.html to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.

Ferrero rocher(small & Big) Christmas Pudding Chocolate Box/Holder(trapezoid box)_#06_2016

Hi! I made a Christmas Pudding Chocolate Box/Holder for "Lindor" chocolate the other day(If you haven't seen the project yet, click the link) I thought it was so cute that I wanted to make some for neighbours too. then thought It would be funny to give it to the neighbours per person, so decided to make a bigger one that can fit at least 4 Ferrero rocher chocolate balls :-)

Nowadays because of christmas, I slept way less than normal days, so It was quite longer time to figure out to make it bigger..... but did it! i am very pleased with it how it came out. the icing is kinda wig, so It changed to something else, you can use the base box for any occasions :-)
