Watercolor flower background Thank you card#81_2017_The Creative Flow Blog Hop(Stampin up)

Thank you for joining us on our Creative Flow Blog Hop. Each month we are set a challenge to creatively stretch our imaginations. The products we have used are all available in the current Annual and/or seasonal Stampin’ Up!® catalogues. To hop along, please use the buttons at the bottom of the post to keep hopping.

This month's challenge is "Spring has sprung"  Spring = Flower on my head only, Recently I made many flower cards using solid flower images, so this time I was using the outline flower image from
"Birthday Blooms" stamp set.

I used the stamp set to compose a full background which I embossed gold emboss powder and gold glimmer paper for border to give the card some depth. I then choose 2 blue family ink pads(Island Indigo and Night of Navy) to watercolours the background to give a contrasting soft effect which I felt gave a nice natural feel.

It might look so messy and busy background, so I emboss gold on a black cardstock and gave deep border to focus on sentiment more(Hope it make sense.....)

I filmed a process video for this project, will upload soon.
so please come back in few day to check it out how I did make them. :-)

Now The video is up :-)

  1. I love how you created the background using this lovely stamp Jerim. Deep blues and gold embossing makes this card look so elegant. Simply stunning!
