Hello, Friends :-)
This month's Theme is "Embossing".
There are 2 kinds of Embossing technics that I know.
- "Dry embossing"
- "Heat Embossing"
My favourite one is "Heat Embossing" technic which I really wanted to find out how to do it.
(I still remember how I felt when I saw white powder melted on to black paper on youtube. I was a magic!)
I usually use this technic for embossing sentiments to stand it out. Like a white sentiment on Black paper.
But this time I used the white embossing power on top of images for the snow effect.
I CASed the card from P. 12 | 2018 Autumn/Winter Catalogue. I normally don't like to do CASed projects, But that card is so cute from Catalogue! when I saw it, 'Hang on, Snow is falling down, it should be pile up on the fence and car!! that's not right.......!' So wanted to add extra snow on top of the fence and car. using the heat embossing technic.
I Re-Size down to 4" x 4" and I wanted the car colour was matched to the card base, so I left the card image as it was when I coloured with Cherry Cobbler.
But I felt too much to use green on the Garden Green card based. so I cut out the tree image and replaced to gift image. (I wrapped a ribbon on kraft cardstock.)
Do you like those cards with extra snow? It was so fun to make them!
I filmed a process video to show how to make this card.
